Deal Harbor

CRM for deal-driven teams

A CRM built for real estate investors and deal-driven teams. Deal Harbor organizes contacts, pipelines, documents, e-signature and follow-ups around the deal rather than around a generic sales funnel.

How it works

How a deal moves through Deal Harbor

A deal is the unit of work, so the deal is what everything attaches to. The four steps below are the same four the board is organised around.

  1. Step 01

    Bring the people in

Sellers, buyers, lenders and agents are recorded once, then attached to the deals they actually touch.

  2. Step 02

Put the deal on a pipeline

Stages describe how this kind of deal really moves, so a card position on the board carries information instead of decoration.

  3. Step 03

Attach the paperwork and sign it

Documents and e-signature live on the deal record, which is the first place anyone looking for them would think to check.

  4. Step 04

    Commit to the next step

The follow-up becomes a tracked item, so the deal advances because the system carried it rather than because somebody remembered.

The shape of it

One deal, seen from the side

Read left to right and you are following a single deal through its stages. Read down and you are looking at the things that stay attached to it. Contacts, documents, e-signature and follow-ups live on the deal record rather than in a separate filing system.

One deal, moving left to right

  1. Stage one
  2. Stage two
  3. Stage three
  4. Stage four

Generic names. The point of the row is its shape, not these labels.

  • Contacts Seller, buyer, lender, agent
  • Documents On the deal record
  • E-signature Signed where it lives
  • Follow-ups Tracked, not remembered

These four stay attached as the deal moves along the row, on the deal record rather than in a separate filing system.

What it does

Capabilities, and why each one earns its place.

  • 01

    Contacts with context

Sellers, buyers, lenders and agents sit next to the deals they touch, so the relationship has a history.

Why it matters A name with no deal history behind it is a rolodex entry, not a relationship you can act on.

  • 02

    Pipelines that match the work

Stages describe how a deal actually moves, so the board tells you where attention is needed.

Why it matters A pipeline borrowed from generic sales software describes somebody else's job, not this one.

  • 03

    Documents and e-signature

Paperwork and signing live on the deal record instead of in a separate tool with its own filing system.

Why it matters Every extra filing system is another place the current version of a document can hide.

  • 04

    Follow-ups

The next step is a tracked commitment rather than a note that gets buried under the day.

Why it matters Deals rarely die from a bad decision. They die from a step nobody took.

Where it fits

The jobs this was built to carry.

  1. 01

Know what every open deal is waiting on

An investor working several acquisitions at once who needs to know what each one is actually blocked by.

  2. 02

    Stop losing documents between tools

A team that keeps losing paperwork between email, cloud storage and text messages, and re-sends it to be safe.

  3. 03

    Replace remembering with tracking

An operator whose follow-up currently depends on memory rather than on the system raising its hand.
